aisle runner walmart

Cecy Rg, on July 31, 2019 at 3:02 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 9
FOUND THIS AISLE RUNNER AT MY WALMART AT $10 but I am afraid that the fabric is so thin that maybe with my dress could move the aisle. I was not even thinking of buying an aisle runner for the church but its a deal, but its a deal that can be beautiful or be easily ruin by anyone walking or even myself. THANKS

Could you tack it down with some double sided fabric tape to make sure it doesnt move? I have a similar one with hearts on it. We are using it outside so I am going to sew a small pocket on the ends and put little bar weights in to hold it down in the wind and use some doublesided tape along the sides.

I had one similar to it. I didn't end up using it because it really was thin and you would need to have something to hold it down which is fine if you have decor on the aisles that could, but I didn't so I ended up scrapping the idea of it on the actual wedding day aha

    Hey there!!

What a great find! This is such a gorgeous aisle runner!

If you are worried about it moving as you walk down the aisle, perhaps double-sided carpet tape would stick it to the floor so that it is secure. You can buy this on Amazon and can probably get it in any local hardware store too!

I wouldn't put an aisle runner in a church. Churches are beautiful enough. Not saying it's a waste of money since it's only $10 but don't think it's a necessity.

You can get a thin no slip material to put under it so that it doesn't move, and then tape the corners down with double sided tape?

If it is cheap that is a lot of money for a runner when you can find one the same price that has better quality.

Unless you can get a heavy runner that won't move, don't waste the money. I have seen too many caught under a bride's dress under the heel of a bridesmaid or.

I am such a klutz. Aisle runners are terrifying to me.

It is very pretty. But personally I would skip it.
