Airbrush vs manual makeup - photos?

Jessica, on June 23, 2017 at 1:35 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 16

Does anyone have any pics of their HMU trial after they had airbrush makeup done? And any recommendations on choosing airbrush or manual? What are the benefits of airbrush / benefits of manual? I have my trial next month and want to have a better idea of what to ask for ahead of time

I posted 2 days ago after my HMU trial - mine is airbrush. I LOVE airbrush. It stays in place and doesn't get quite as caked on as regular makeup.

I was wondering the same thing!

I had airbrush as a bridesmaid.. I didn't really notice a difference, but I also wasn't sweaty or anything. I'm not a big make up person so I'm curious to see what other people think as well.

Seriously this sounds juvenile, but just google about airbrushed makeup and look at what there is out there. Google is the best tool for almost everything. On the other hand I do know that if you are using a super fine dry powder foundation, like mineral powder, that the fine partials are bad for your lungs because you breath them in. Good luck.

I read somewhere if you have oily skin, traditional is better, but if you have dry skin, airbrush is better.

Thanks! The skin type part is tricky for me because I have combination skin

Oh, I have dry t-zone and oily around the sides of my nose/sweat easily - if that helps. I know not exactly the same, but again a fan of airbrush Smiley smile

I have oily skin and I had airbrush. Through rain and sweat, that bitch stayed on GOOD!

I have combination skin and loved airbrush. All of my BM also got airbrush and they loved it as well, but I'm not sure of their skin types.

I have combination skin and I loved the airbrush!

This picture was also taken 6 hours after my trial and being outside for two hours in 90 degree weather.

I just had my trial done on Tuesday and love it! I'm getting my makeup airbrushed. I chose airbrush over regular makeup application because I know I'll shed some tears on my wedding day and want something long lasting.

    Here are a couple photos:

Team Airbrush. It stayed on and remained immaculate the whole day and night (and the morning after lol) of my trial. I have combo skin. I've done traditional makeup by pros for other friends weddings and it didn't last nearly as long as airbrush

I have ridiculously oily skin and did airbrush for my engagement pics and that stuff lasted forever! It held tight through 90 degree Michigan heat and humidity and still looked amazing after all our park hiking pictures. I'm forever on team airbrush. Here's a pic for you:

I loved my airbrush! It still felt matte at the end of the day, which is not the norm for me. It was totally worth it!
