Airbrush Makeup?

Andrea, on March 25, 2011 at 9:38 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5

I heard about airbrush makeup from a hair stylist and she was going on about how great it was for the wedding day. The only place that I know of in my town that does it charges $100 which isn't too bad but I will also need it done for my bridal session, and I'm not sure if it's worth paying $200 for.

Does anyone know anything about airbrush makeup? Is it just foundation and blush or do they do eyemake up too? Is it worth getting for my wedding day?

I have never had it done before but I do think it is worth it. I have the type of skin that makeup just falls off of, even when moisturized so I think on a day as important as my wedding, airbrush will be my insurance policy, keep me from having to touch it up and help me look great in photos all day and night. I believe my MUA is only doing airbrush foundation, (maybe cheeks too but definitely not eyes) Is $100 for the entire face of makeup or just the airbrush portion? $100 for a full face of makeup is a very good price.

I think it's for the full face of makeup. I should double check that but I believe they do foundation, blush, and do my eyemake up too but with regular makeup

I had mine done for my Engagement photos. They do full face. It really does look flawless in the photos, and believe me I have "redness" problems. I love it. I want to get the airbrush gun on my own so I can always do airbrush makeup.

Airbrush is a nice way to get a smooth, even finish on your face. I've had it done for pictures before and it was great. Just don't let them overdo it.

Dior has airbrush in a 2.5 oz canister for $60 and lots of great reviews. I am leaning towards doing my own and using it, went to a retailer and tried it and it didn't come off till I washed it off the next morning.
