Airbrush makeup for acne

I've struggled with facial acne & scars. I'm now starting to look at makeup salons. Has anyone had a good experience with air brush makeup or have any suggestions for covering acne/scars without looking cakey? Also salon suggestions in MN helpful!

I have acne prone skin. I went ahead and used a matte primer with a matte foundation. The reason is because I didn't want to become oily through out the day. To me when I become oily, my scars stand out even more. Hope that helps!
