Hi Ladies!

I am extremely confused so as of last week I was fully convinced that I was getting married at Rockleigh Country Club until my mom saw a post on facebook that the owners of Park Savoy are opening a brand new wedding hall in East Brunswick called Park Chateau. I just came back from meeting with the owners of Park Chateau and it looks absolutely beautiful from what I can see! But it is literally not even fully built yet there are just bare concrete walls and floors. They just showed me pictures and it looks very pretty. But there prices are extremely high! They are priced around the same thing as Rockleigh but I am not able to see physically what the place looks like which is a really scary thing to do when your spending a lot of money! Has anyone done that I am not sure what to do I am in love with both places lol (well one doesn't physically exist yet!)

Yup but that includes absolutely everything tables China everything just like most wedding venues include.. It is open bar and everything.. But going in blind is very very hard! And I refuse to pay 245++ not knowing what it's going to look like.. but I wasn't sure if other brides have done that before I wanted to get advice

I wouldn't. But I also wouldn't spend that much per person either way so there's that.

But that's a lot of money for one thing that you have no guarantee it will be completed

Hi! i booked my wedding at the park chateau for March 2017, sight unseen. I'm so excited! I definitely trust them that it will be completed in time and be beautiful. Did you wind up booking with them?

Hi no I ended up not booking them the price they wanted for a September 2019 wedding was way above what I wanted to spend the place seems to be absolutely amazing but to pay what they wanted me to pay without seeing it was really hard. They expect by 2019 to charge regular price because it would be established but it wasn't a typical wedding price. Congrats it's going to be beautiful!

For those venues yes that price is pretty norm. It includes everything and while i cant speak for the new building - park savoy has excellent service and food. Naninas is very similar. I had a weird feeling with meeting them though they were like car salesmen and came off a bit fake. However they are priced this much because the food and service is some of the best. They wouldnt get away with those prices if they werent. Park Savoy is an amazing location as well and has a "man cave" along with a bridal suite that was pretty awesome.

I mean if you can swing those prices go for it, if you know thats going to be out of price range i would stick with the rockleigh.

I mean rockleighs prices weren't much cheaper but I found it hard to book a hall and end up paying with tax $356 a person without knowing what I was even going to see.. They weren't as pushy with me because they didn't really want to book a wedding so far in advance especially knowing they said by 2019 they are going to be asking people with tax over 400 a person so they would be losing money booking my wedding when they can get more by 2019 comes around I only booked early knowing I was going to get cheaper rates even though nothing's cheap nowadays
