Age of getting married

I will be 31 on the day of our wedding. Personally, 22-24 would have been way too young for me. Even though I was pretty mature, I did a lot of growing and changing since then. I would not have experienced enough in life to know the kind of partner I needed. Of course, everyone is different. I have friends who married that young and they are very happy. However, if you were ready to get married I don’t think you would be questioning your age. If you believe you will spend the rest of your lives together anyway, why not wait. Plus if you are older, you are more likely in a better place financially.

We started dating when I was 30 and he was 32. I was 31 when we got engaged and he was 33 when we got engaged. I will be 32 and he will be 34 when we get married.
