After the party!

I've been to weddings where both have happened, but I always think it's kind of nice to leave your guests wanting just a little bit more, haha! I don't want to be the last to leave, taking down the last of the decorations and turning off the lights, as it were. I want to be waved off by the majority of our guests, feeling like the star of the show!

I mean, I say that now, but I also know myself, and I'll have a huge amount of FOMO either way, lol.

We weren't the last to leave, but we stayed even beyond the sparkler exit to hug guests and thank them for coming!

We are staying till the end, but that’s because we will be going straight to the after party after the reception!

We stayed until the end and it was so fun!!

Stay til the end to do a last dance and say bye to anyone still there.

We are extending the party as long as possible. An after party at another location is not done in our families and social circles because guests stay as long as they can. We specifically looked for a venue with no curfew for that reason.

We stayed to the very end at both of our weddings

We were the first to leave. We did our last dance, our exit, and zipped off in a limo to go celebrate being newlyweds in our hotel.

We stayed til the end mostly to collect some stuff and then go. my regret though was not taking more time to get stuff for instance there were things i could have taken with me but generally everything i left was inexpensive anyway. i was tired haha so at that point i just wanted to go

We stayed until the very end, I've always liked closing out parties I've hosted so I have a chance to say goodbye to everyone and make sure everything is wrapped up. I was loading boxes into my car trunk in my wedding dress in the parking lot, LOL.

I realized you also asked why, and I didn't answer. The reason was we were just a couple of dumb kids and we wanted to go be dumb kids who just got married together, if you get what I mean.

I should maybe clarify that we were there the duration of the reception - but the moment it ended (last dance), we were out. Our families lingered and packed up leftovers for themselves, but the party itself was over.

I stayed until the very ended. I was running around in my dress collecting our things after. I wasn’t leaving anything behind because we paid for all that! So I collected all the flowers, centerpieces, left over alcohol hahaha

We stayed until the end. Most of our wedding party were married folk and knew what needed to be handled. I didn't have to pack a thing, and the only item that was left behind was the empty shoebox that my wedding shoes came in. Plus it was sexy to see my Husband taking charge and directing the load-out. Our car, my brother's car and my bridesmaid's car were the last to leave, and we left together, which also let us make sure everyone had a safe departure because when I tell you that field was pitch black and our headlights were the only lights out there...LOL

We're staying until the end mainly because we payed for it and want to enjoy it. Maybe not the very end, but close to it.

We've decided to stay until the very end. More than likely, I'll be making sure everything we brought with us, leaves with us.

We will do the sparkler send off, at which time the wedding is over. So - in theory we are all leaving at the same time. Our venue is all inclusive, so no cleanup is needed. But they have a time for us to come by the next day to collect our leftover alcohol and personal items.
