Affordable, Versatile Bridesmaid Dress and Tulle and Chantilly Review??

David's bridal has somewhat affordable dresses (more affordable than if you got them through a non-chain bridal store). I've also heard of people having great luck with Macy's, Dillard's, younkers

No experience with those sites. But we are using Azazie. Amazing reviews & tons of styles & colors for great prices.

You can also order a sample dress for $10 for them to try on first before you order.

I second David's Bridal. Also, did you want them to wear the same dress? You could give them the option of each choosing their own dress using specifics that you provide, like color, material and/or length. This would hopefully ensure that each of them gets a dress that they are comfortable wearing and fits their budgets.

Tulle and Chantilly is a very good site. I am having my bridesmaids purchase their dress on this site. I love that you can get custom made dresses instead of just ordering a size. Everyone has different body types so I want my lovely ladies to feel comfortable in the dress. Also, the people working are very big on making sure the measurements and the color is right. If you tell them that your bridesmaids will be ordering the dress. They will ensure that they are all the same color by simply waiting for everyone to order the dress and having everyone add the order number to their order. I think they are great. They are pricey but I think it is worth it because of the custom made dresses.

I am started to get concerned because the girls have not received their drssses and in response to my emails all I get is a response saying that they are closed for 21 days due to the Chinese New Year. Very dissatisfied with my purchase. The dress sent to me was not made correctly and did not fit properly. Upon contacting them I had to take pictures of the dress and go through a series of 8 email correspondences just to try to get some of my money back. Even though their site says they will refund you the dress they insisted on suggesting I take it somewhere to get it altered and sending me a new dress when I had already had to purchase another dress for my occasion. I am left with a dress I can't do anything with and lost $61.50 after the refund. I understood that I would need to pay shipping to get it back to them and then get refunded for the cost of the dress ($121.50). I went to get a quote on shipping the dress back and they said it would cost $150. That is crazy. The shipping cost should be similar to what I paid to ship it over ($20). That is very misleading. I was prepared to lose shipping costs which would have put me at a $100 refund (based on $20 shipping rate). So since I can't get the dress back to them, I am stuck in a position where I have to accept a $80 credit, which is all they the manager will offer me. I do not recommend purchasing through this company.
