Affordable slips

At first I didn't think I needed a slip with my dress until I tried it back on in David's bridal with one of their slips, but they're so expensive! I don't want to pay $80 for a slip no one will see. I bought one from Amazon, tried it but I don't think it gave the same affect as the one at David's bridal. Does anyone have any suggestions for other slips at other places or by a particular brand? Maybe it was just the brand I bought from Amazon. All suggestions are welcome!

I tried one from Amazon and to me, it didn't give the same affect as the one at DB. I was just curious as to wear or what brand others have used

JC Penny and Kohl’s have excellent undergarments such as slips ....plus they both have good coupons. I would check them.

The one I have now is from Amazon, but I thought maybe I just need to try a different brand/company so I just ordered a different one to see if it will make a difference.
