Affordable photography around Dallas/north of Dallas?

Have you tried the vendor search tool? Or Googled, and then emailed photographers you came across? You should be able to find someone with skill for up to $2,300 for 6 hours. Don't get hung up on "needing" two photographers; a great photographer will be able to capture all the important parts of our day (and with a good timeline, he/she can capture both the bride and groom getting ready, if that's something you want). Talk with different photographers and see if they are willing to work out a package within your budget.

I am not sure about where you are in Dallas but Brittany Bay productions have amazing photos!!!Their current prices are around your budget as well. Hope this helps

You might look at OKC-area photographers. Even with travel costs some very good ones are likely more affordable than in a big metro area.

Thanks for the suggestions! I like the vendor search tool, it is just limited. I like the first 2 mentioned, Brittany Bay only offers 9 hours apparently lol, so I dunno what she'd do the other 3.

Use Instagram - that's how I found my photographer and hundreds of others in my area.

Not in your area, but the photographers we spoke to didn't advertise 6 hours, but they all put together packages for us that were just what we needed. It doesn't hurt to ask if they do shorter weddings. We're going with a package that has a second shooter only for a portion, which may also be an option.
