Affordable Dresses

I got mine at a store that sells bridal gowns, prom dresses, cocktail dresses and other formal dresses. There was a big selection as I wasn’t looking for traditional and I only spent $250. I also looked on Amazon and Etsy before deciding on the one I ended up with.

The minimalist 90s slip dress is back in fashion, with many styles in a midi- length version. You can accessorize with toppers, pins, etc if you choose.

You might like some of the Shona Joy wedding dresses- they’re all under $600, with clean lines and very sexy. Reformation’s wedding line would also be worth a look- the majority of their dress are under $500! I’d also recommend finding out if there are any consignment wedding dress stores near you- they’ve become increasingly common over the last few years.

You can also check out Revolve for their bridal selection! They have lots of non-traditional options at an affordable price depending on what you're going for

A place I’ve found to also be helpful is Avery Austin. They have a number of dresses you can try on at home before you buy. You can choose up to 3 dresses at a time to try on at home. Send them back within 7 days or receiving. If you find one you’re in love with, give them your measurements. Your dress will be ready in about 13 weeks or so. They’re under $1,000 so that’s a plus for me. The added bonus is you can pay in installments using Klarna. That’s what sold me.
