Affordable dress sites?

Shannon, on November 11, 2014 at 2:14 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11

Did anyone have luck shopping online for affordable dresses? I really need to only spend $300 for my very tiny budget. What are some websites you were happy with? What are some I should steer clear of?

Etsy has some great finds for cheaper than a lot of salons. Just make sure you pick a seller who has plenty of positive reviews. Chances are you'll still need to have some alterations made, that should still be more affordable than buying and altering a dress from a salon.

Are you specifically looking for online stores? Davids bridal has lots of inexpensive dresses I went in with a $500 dollar budget and it didn't limit me too much. try the small shops where you can just get a dress off the rack too that is usually a cheaper alternative than trying to go with a designer type store.

I am thinking more of looking online at used dress sites. So many dress sites are Chinese- and in aware they could totally ruin everything budget-wise. I really want a lot of lace but that gets so pricey, so fast! So I feel like an online retailer would be most affordable- especially after I try on shapes at David's.

Have a look at dressblee.com. I haven't ordered yet but so far their customer service has been outstanding. Just getting the measurements from my girls and will be ordering in about a week.

I have found a few shops local to me that stock only designer samples that are discontinued. It's off the rack only but great prices, maybe you can look around and find one near you?

I would try Poshmark. They have a huge selection and it's easy to search. They even have some dresses on sale that still have the tags on. Just search for a lace wedding dress and see what comes up in your size.
