I'm a BM in a friend's wedding at the end of May. I ordered my dress from David's Bridal online and it looked like a hot mess. Rant: it's REALLY frustrating that some dress styles are available online but not in-store and vice versa. The nearest DB is an hour away from my house. Ain't nobody got time for that.

That is all!

Omg, I am having the same problem. Three out of Four of my bridesmaids went with me at the end of May to get BMs dresses. Everyone picks the same dress and we are out the door. My colors are wine and orange, so the girls are all wearing wine dresses. My MOH got a different dress altogether bc she is bigger in the chest. When we got the dresses the told me September 13th, 2014 and we agreed to have them shipped to the girls and we would do overnight alterations at local places. I call two days later and it is explained to me that the dresses aren't coming in until the 15th and they take three days to ship from the store. It puts my dresses here the day before my wedding, and the girls wont even have time to press them. I had a BM call and ask what the deal was why the two day push back and why weren't we told about the 3 days shipping. They told her because wine was so POPULAR it takes longer to make them. I thought this was odd but said okay, they also explained there was no way to rush or ship overnight. I thought about this that night and decided to call myself. I called an got a manager who said he could promise me delivery in the first week of September. I think oh great problem solved and go about my business. Late June I decide to check again and they told me the same thing, but I hadn't heard anything. My MOH dress arrived today at another store so i called and checked on the other dresses. The lady told me corporate was vague on the answer and that we may have been pushed back to September 10th and they can't promise delivery by the 18th even at the 10th, so I am going to have to pick up all of the dresses myself and deliver them. I asked her if she could promise the 10th, and her answer was I'm sorry plan on the 15th, and hope for the 4th, but honestly I don't think they'll be here in time. I asked her why and she told me, "no one picks wine anymore so it takes longer". I was more upset over the lies than the timing. She told me call every week to see. GRRRRRRRRR I was given the option to pick out new dresses and hope they arrive in time.... like honestly, it's so close I can't even begin to think about doing that.
