Advice for the Knot rsvp Function

I've heard mixed reviews on using the knot to collect RSVPs online. It's too late for us to choose a different method of RSVP so I'd love any tips on making this go as smooth as possible.
If you used the knot to collect RSVPs did you have any issues? How to did you resolve these issues?
Biggest issue I have so far is that i have a few family members with the same first and last name and it won't let them RSVP, looks like we'll have to do it for them.

We haven’t had any issues with the knot! Maybe add a middle initial to the people with the same name so it will be different? My brother + dad have the same name and I just made sure it had “jr” so it was different & they wouldn’t have an issue looking their names up.

Interesting....my RSVPs are coming in now without issue. Many of our guests have my FH's last name, some singles, some couples, some w/ families, and so far so good. The only one so far who was unable to send his response is FH's father, but he is admittedly not tech savvy and had trouble getting to the website itself. It took me a few seconds to go in and do theirs, and I expected to have a few, so, no big deal. Others in the older population have had no trouble.

Maybe contact the knot? I found them very responsive to a Q i had while setting up the site. Good luck!

Good idea, I'll try the middle initial! No idea how my family ended up with 4 Donald's that have the same last name....

Glad to hear you haven't had any issues, makes me feel better about using this for RSVPs. For some reason it's just the people that have the same first and last name. I found that if they just type their last name into the search instead of first and last, it'll let them RSVP.

We are using it and I love it 🙌🏾. We sent out invites last Tuesday and have about 15 rsvp so far. I did secured guest list bc my friend didn’t for her wedding and ppl were able to just add their names even if they weren’t invited.

Awesome, these good reviews are definitely easing my nerves! I decided last minute to do the secure RSVP too, ppl can just contact me if they have issues.

Has anyone used The Knot for wedding RSVP and also for shower RSVP??
I'm confused by adding another event, that it might show to ALL the guests. Does anyone have experience to share?
