Addressing rsvp envelopes

Stephanie, on July 13, 2018 at 11:12 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 21
I’m starting the process of sending out invites. My FH and I already have a house together. How should I address the rsvps? Do I just put my name since I’m the manning the rsvp response? Or do I put Mr. first name last name and Miss First name last name. I’ve googled how to do this and it only really shows if people don’t live together.

I have an ink stamp with just our first names and our address. If you want it more formal, I would use what you said, Mr._ and Ms._

I think your new last name would be cute. Example: The Baldwins

I did our first names. A bit informal, but to me looked best for layout of our return address labels.

We ordered a stamp online with just our first names. It was wonderful and we can even use it after the wedding!

I’m doing onlin RSVPs so this isn’t what I did for your specific situation but I bought return address labels that say the future Mr and Mrs (FH’s last name) to put on the envelopes of our thank you cards. They were super cheap from Zazzle!

I just sent my suite to print and the rsvp only has my name since I’m the one compiling the responses. I also love with my fiancé. The stationer told me there are no “rules” about that. Just do what you like!

I addressed ours as (my first name last name) & (his first name last name). We live together as well. We are sharing the RSVP duties and it seemed weird to put just one of us on the return address.

First and last name, as you would your general mail, should be an appropriate way to address return envelopes without difficulty. Happy planning!

FH and I live together as well but I'm in charge of the RSVP response cards so I put my name only on the return envelope. I've seen it done several different ways so I think its a matter of personal preference.
