Addressing RSVP envelopes

Gracie, on February 21, 2017 at 5:34 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 14

I'm having a brain fart on how to address the rsvp envelopes, so I was curious how you all did it? FH said put "The Future Mr. & Mrs. _____", my mom said just put our address and nobody's name, my friend says just put Gracie ____ & Luke ___. Is there a proper way, a better way, or a wrong way? I'm probably overthinking it, but I'm worried about addressing it improperly, and not getting any rsvp's back. Thanks in advance!

We had a stamp made that just had our first names in pretty font followed by our address. I think any of the options you mentioned would work. I like future mr. and Mrs. ___

Future Mr and Mrs ___, just your first names, one of your names - it's up to you! The only thing I wouldn't do is write "Mr. and Mrs. FutureLastName" because you won't be married yet Smiley smile

There's no wrong way to do it I think, but you definitely should not leave off your names completely. We did just first names.

I did both of our full names since we were living together at the time. There is no wrong way imo.
