Addressing Invitations

So silly question- how are most people addressing their invitation and STD envelopes- handwritten, printed professionally, label makers? Any other suggestions?

I used a Cricut for addressing. My best friend hand-wrote hers.

We used (for STDs) Avery clear labels and printed them. Will likely do the same for invites, these things aren’t on our priority list in the budget so we are trying to go economical on them.

We printed directly on our save the date envelopes. We ordered invitations from Minted and they offer free address printing so we didn’t have to worry about that.

I used my Cricut to address my STDs and will probably do the same for my invitations. It was a bit of a labor of love, but I had the time. Not a recommendation if you’re in a rush.

My FH is super into calligraphy and has really great handwriting (I have chicken scratch lol) so he is planning on hand addressing all the STD and invite envelopes but we are going to order address label stickers for the return address for both

We paid the extra fee for our stationary company to professionally print the envelopes for all of our wedding stationary. To us it was worth the extra cost versus the stress and time of doing it on our own.

I printed address labels at home using the Avery clear address labels and a free template from their website. I'm really happy with how they turned out and plan to do the same for invitations and escort cards.

We also used clear Avery labels! So easy and turned out great. Printed them on my work printer (just a normal printer). We bought the labels on Amazon for maybe 10 or 15 bucks and then the Avery website has tons of templates you can use or edit, or design your own. Super easy but they looked great! Also, I would make sure if you use Avery not to use the "frosted matte" ones, make sure it says glossy!

I mail merged the invitation envelopes through my printer at work. STD envelopes were too small, so I ran labels.
