We asked our moms lol. We knew they already had them all, so we asked them to send them to us. From there I created a spreadsheet with everyone’s names, how many people in their party, if STDs had been addressed and mailed out, of invitations had been addressed and filled out, and if we got their RSVP back. We’re only about to send out our STDs but the sheet is ready to go lol.

I asked my mom and FMIL, nearly all of our guest list is family so I knew they'd have them. The rest are work friends so I'll hand deliver those, and text the few friends outside of work for their addresses.

My mom and mother-in-law gave us the addresses for most people. For those they didn't provide, I texted or sent a Facebook message with a link to The Knot that allowed them to put in all of their contact information. WeddingWire might have something similar, but I'm not sure since I used The Knot for that.

I send out Christmas cards every year, so I just needed to update with the people who moved. Some I texted and some I sent a Facebook message to. No real reason as to why one over the other. I also sent an email to all my guests asking to let me know of any changes that I may not know about.

I had an old Christmas Card List with most of my family's addresses. My cousin got married a couple years previously, so she gave me her list that had some updated addresses. And anyone I didn't have I just messaged via Facebook.

I created a profile on there, it’s a free virtual address book. It creates a link for you to send out, so I texted it or sent it VIA Facebook for all who are tech capable, manually entered my grammas myself. Some people thought it was a random/spam thing so I did start sending it and then a follow up message just saying “this is a legitimate request, I’m gathering addresses for the wedding” I like this option because all of the info is in one place, it’s very easy for them to put in, so STDs were able to go out this week, and when invites are ready I don’t have to hunt down these addresses again or copy them manually myself

My mom and MIL gathered them for their guests, and we texted our friends for them. For some people, I used Whitepages if I kind of knew it but couldn't remember the exact house number but was certain of the street.

My lovely fh started and has mostly maintained the spreadsheet lol. It worked out pretty well because our invitations lady asked us to provide her addresses in a spreadsheet format, so we just sent that over when we were ready.

We created a google form and then a facebook group. That got a lot of people. For the rest, we will text or call.

We’re doing an online RSVP through Zola and they have a link you can text people to fill out. It adds their name, address and significant other’s name to your guest list.

The ones that didn’t respond I had whoever was the one inviting them (me, my fiancé or our moms) reach out to them.

If there is someone who does holiday postcards, ask them first for all the addresses they have. Then call or text. Ive created a spreadsheet with all their information so I can have for the future.

We used paperlesspost for our save-the-dates (sent vie email). They had an address collection option so that when people opened their STD it prompted them to submit their mailing address to us.

Giant Google sheet. I've got the names, last known addresses, and then who "owns" them (my family, his family, or us). Everyone is responsible for hunting down our confirming their own, and when RSVP time comes they'll hopefully be able to track theirs down.

It's really helped me split up the work, and the list transparently shows who we're inviting - hopefully to avoid awkward discussions for people.

Zola was really helpful with their text/ email
feature, and ended up addressing all our save the dates for free! They send a text that says “hey were deep in wedding planning and blah blah blah” so the recipient knows it’s for your wedding. We had to follow up with a few people who thought it was a scam or something and a few others just texted back their addresses. For the others who I didn’t have their phone numbers I Facebook messaged or got their addresses from someone else aka my aunt had all my dads siblings addresses. It was not as daunting as I thought it would be. Just get a start on it before there’s a crunch. We needed the addresses before this past weekend because Zola was having a 50% off sale and it was stressful to make sure we got those last few in.

Husbands family has a family address list - similar to white pages, so that was easy (although a few moved and the list wasn't updated).

My family was a bit more challenging. I tried to reach out to people who would get a large scale on one call. I.e. I called my aunt, got all her kids & my other aunts, I texted my cousin & got her siblings, I bombarded my dad to get 3x address (one was for my uncle who I then reached out for his kids), the other were for his 2x friends. I also knew a lot of my cousins phone numbers, so I was able to send them texts directly.
