Address Stencils

Danielle, on March 5, 2020 at 11:49 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 1 7

I can't justify spending money on a calligrapher but I don't want just regular handwriting on my invites. Has anyone bought a stencil small enough? The smallest I've found is 3/4 inch which is huge, especially for rsvp cards. I haven't been to a craft store yet, just walmart and online. I'm probably going to Michael's this weekend.

I didn't do a stencil, but another idea would be to buy a template from Etsy and print on your invites/envelopes at home. I spent $5 on one for our invitation envelopes and I love how they turned out. Just an idea in case you were looking for other options! Smiley smile

Many invitation sites offer addressing for free or for a small fee. You could also print addresses directly on the envelopes.

We printed our addresses on those stickers and just chose a calligraphy font. so much easier, easier for postman to read, and the only one who really keeps the envelope is MAYBE parents and grandparents. Wasn't worth the expense for us.

I'm doing the Avery clear address labels. Easy! Especially for something that will end up in the trash.

I second using Cricut! I used mine and it turned out beautifully.

If you know anyone with a Cricut, you could see if they will let you come over to use it to address your envelopes!
