Address Label Fonts

Vanessa, on May 4, 2013 at 10:29 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 4 16

I am going against all tradition and printing my envelopes addresses on labels. I'm looking for a font that looks like is handwritten and in some sort of calligraphy and/or script, that is still easily read. Any ideas?

I printed mine directly on the envelopes using a font called "never let go"

i had several people ask or mention that i addressed them by hand...lol

I had to google and download this font...... but it's perfect!

I highly recommend printing directly on the envelope. All you need to do is measure the size of your envelope and adjust the page layout to the same size in Word or whatever document you are using.

I download fonts all the time because of teaching. I really like using "Alex Brush" or "Lavanderia Regular" You can google those...

I tried labels first and didn't like them... even the "clear" ones looked bad to me. I'd try printing on the envelopes .. looks so much better!

I'll be printing on the envelope. I chose a font called Snailmail(I'm pretty sure) on dafont.com.

We also used clear labels and a font called "Last King Quest" from dafont. I love the font because it has that nice calligraphy look without being overly ornate, and it's upper-case letters and numerals are very easily legible (important for mailings)! Hmmm, now I'm going to try printing directly on envelopes, originally wanted to go with clear labels too. This doesn't sound like a fun adventure, but I'll give it a shot! Thanks for the idea to us "never let go" I like it!

I'm glad I found this!! SO many great fonts! I just figured out how to print on my envelopes. I originally bought "clear" labels from avery and they were not clear at all! Looked terrible on my pretty gold envelopes.

Don't know about the label on envelope thing. but I'll be printing on labels for save the dates and on envelopes for invitations. Also, it was brought to my attention that if you create labels.. it's easier to reprint for thank you cards later. Thanks for the fonts, they're all nice.. thinking Lavanderia Regular is for me.
