Adding lace to illusion top

It's possible. I haven't personally done it but I've seen it before.

No. There are already plenty of details. Adding extra lace will take away attention from what makes the bodice beautiful... maybe even make it look tacky

What about adding a nude piece under the illusion in the cleavage area? It would give you coverage but not "add" to the bodice. A good seamstress should be able to make it work. Talk to them and see what they suggest.

I have seen other threads on here where brides have done the same thing. You can find a similar, but simple lace, and fill in the cleavage area so you will feel more comfortable in your dress.

I love it!!! And with the illusion it does make it more modest. Im sure you can add lace for more coverage just not sure if it would take away from the dress. Maybe see if they can add another layer of the nude illusion material?
