Hi everyone! First time posting and was wondering if y'all could help me out, I bought my dress a couple months back and my wedding is October 30th 2020, I'm looking into alteration options, since it's far too long for me as it is at the moment, but I'm also playing with the idea of adding a slit,... Typically a suit would fall at the seam. Is the seam in the sides or back?

Oh gosh... I didn't realize that.. I can't be sure where the seam is, without pulling the dress out... Unless of course it runs with the zipper? If so then it would be in the back not the side😔

It's a beautiful dress! Where did you want to add a slit? Down a side seam? Front middle? Front but offset over one leg? Have you chosen a seamstress and discussed whether one could be easily added and how much this would cost?
