Adding a blusher? How?

Meaghan, on October 19, 2016 at 11:43 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 13

Pardon the grainy cell picture. This is a veil I've fallen for but the Etsy owner is not currently offering an add-on option for a blusher which I want. Does anyone know who or how I could add the blusher? Or should I find another veil? I am not craft btw. So I don't feel comfortable DIY this.

Have you tried messaging the seller? Lots of etsy sellers will try to help you get exactly what you want. It can't hurt to ask.

My veil is being made by the woman doing my alterations. Maybe try to find someone who has good reviews that can add the blusher?

I asked the seller but her response was...she is swamped with orders and wasn't offering blushers until the spring. My wedding is IN the spring and I wanted to have the veil in time for Christmas when the dress should come in and we do alterations...

I thought about doing that but just afraid my hair (it's gotten thinner over the last year...UGH) won't support two combs. I also have no idea how to style my hair yet for it.

    Try Sam's Bridal in etsy.

I got my veil from her and she added a blusher for no extra charge. She asked me exactly what I wanted and that is what I got.

Davids bridal offers very inexpensive simple blushes that are very light weight and shouldn't be too heavy for thin hair. Call your local shop to see if they have it or can order it for you

I had this same exact veil and I had to search high and low for an add-on , I finally found one from a seller in united kingdom on eBay and it took about three weeks to get to me , she asked for pictures of my veil and match it perfectly .. So look on there or I will try and find the seller.

U can always ask if the veil can be made with 2 layers. I bought mine 2 layers at David's bridal with my dress that way u don't spend extra for a blusher. Just my opinion.

I used blanca veils on etsy, which has a blusher add on option. Wouldn't hurt to ask! They do custom veils as well
