I would definitely talk with a seamstress! Most often it's not an issue and can be done just depends on your price range and the dress. Some can build the sleeves from scratch and some may suggest a bolero and having it sewn in. Good luck and hope it all works out!

I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Sleeves can be added to almost any dress. The more intricate the sleeve, would be more labor which tends to cost a bit more. But I wouldn’t stress too much about it. The seamstress can source pretty much any lace or fabric to match you can think of!
