Can I just say how much I hate some wedding acronyms! Specifically STD and BM.

Being in the medical field these are not pleasant things! For those that don't know BM=bowel movement.

Everytime I read or write them I also just laugh.

I asked my friend if he got our std and he was like what the h*** 🤣🤣 I have learned not to use it outside of the app.

I almost died when Boyle talked about STDs on B99. I only ever use those abbreviations when on my phone. I’d never say them 😂

I write out so many of the acronyms. I also don’t like saying FH because I’ve waited my whole life to have a fiancé. Why waste the chance to say it?

Oh my god I have wondered this ever since I got on here (nurse here). I saw STD and was like why 😂😂 and what does BM mean? I’m sorry all I can think of is bowel movement

I'm not in the medical field but that always crosses my mind too. I ALWAYS just type it out. I don't care. I'll take the extra time to write out the whole thing lol

I've been on this forum for so long I've completely changed those acronyms in my mind lol Even BAM is back and married to me when I hear it out in the real world :-)

I didn't even know BM meant bowel movement! I've always felt strange shortening Save the Dates to "STDs"
