Accommodation etiquette

Ok
So we are getting married at this beautiful log cabin that is about hour and half away from where we live out in the middle of no where. The closest hotel rooms are 10-15miles away.
Now we can rent the whole place if we put a deposit down but guest would have to pay at least $75 per person to stay but it gets tricky we don’t know exactly how many guests will stay and if it’s worthy renting the whole because we don’t want to be stuck with a huge bill It’s really giving me a headache lol Approximately 50 guestsOpen barWedding date 9-26-2020
And no they can’t block the rooms

Can they just book individually if they want to stay? I'd stay away from booking then asking guests to pay you $75 (or whatever) per person. It seems odd & would be overwhelming. I'd book it as a venue and for you & your fiance, then let people know they can book there but give them a few other options.

See if guests can book themselves. I would avoid booking it yourself and then being subject cancellation fees, extra room bills, etc. I would be so nervous about booking something if I didn't have a final count. I don't think $75 is too much for a room though. That's pretty reasonable.

Have your guests book their lodging individually. You don't want any of them to get confused and think that you're paying for their room. (which I would imagine on an invite would read as "we have booked the log cabin for your convenience...." ). I could definitely see guests misinterpeting that you will pay for them.
