Accidentally showed my dress

I accidentally showed my dress to my fiance.
While he was driving I was telling him a story about one of tje consultants discussing my dress and looking at pictures of it when she swiped the wrong way and saw a picture of me in a huge bra
So the teacher in me just decided to model what happened
And I swiped to the picture of my dress and I just casually had it out there.
He then goes " what dress is that?"
My heart and jaw dropped and I stood there like 😳😳😳😳 wondering how I can get myself out of this one and I just caved in and screamed OH MY GOD I JUST SHOWED YOU MY DRESSSSSSSS

FH bursted out into tears of laughter while I sat there almost in tears of disappointment.
He's still laughing at me and he claims he figured it was my dress so he looked away and asked me that question so I can realize what was happening.
I told him I was going to go by another dress lol

I'm so mad at myself! Ahhhhhh🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
Our wedding is July 3rd.

I feel like there's no mystery or anything special now to the big first time seeing each other at the alter.

I know for sure this moment will pop up in his mind the day of the wedding and laugh at the alter 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Has this happened to anyone lol please tell me it will still be special lol

Hahaha this kinda happened to me to. I have my phone up while we were looking at bridesmaid/groomsgals dresses and he totally saw. He’s says he forgot but 🤷🏼‍♀️

Seeing a picture of you in a bridal salon in the dress will be totally different from seeing you all done up and walking down the aisle.

Not a problem, so laugh with him about it. I mean, he didn’t actually see you IN the dress. So you're fine. Plus, from a glance, I’m sure he probably couldn’t describe it if you asked him.

Honestly I wouldn’t worry about it. You will be all done up on wedding day. Also if he’s anything like most guys, my fiancé says all wedding dresses look the same. He’ll be so happy when he sees you walk down the aisle. Don’t sweat it!

So true! Im the opposite... I’ve been showing my FH dress ideas because it’s not a big deal for me. He’ll say “No” he doesn’t like a certain dress. Then after 5 other dresses, I show him the dress again and he says “Yes, I like it”. Im like.... “It’s the same dress silly”. Lol!!!

This exact thing happened today. Haha. Luckily my fiancé doesn’t really pay that much attention to things so he just saw a white blur. By the wedding he’ll forget he even saw it. Don’t sweat it!

I showed mine intentionally because he doesn't believe me i was getting my dress off amazon. And his tux rental is more then my dress...buuut the day it arrived (and might i add its absolutely perfect best $80 I've ever spent) i left it sitting out on our bed while i went to pick up our kids from school...he wasnt supposed to home for another hour and a half got off early and went straight into our bedroom i was walking back home with our kids when i saw his co-worker (and daily ride to work) drive by....i ran home with the kids As fast as i could but i know he saw it...how can you miss a big black wedding dress laying on the bed....he says he didn't notice it but i don't believe him at all...I'm really ok with him seeing it though.it's not a big deal to either of us

My FH has seen pictures of my dress too. He helped me narrow it down from 7 dresses. He saw the online pictures not me in it and he doesn't know which of the final 4 we picked together is the one I actually bought.

My FH went to pick up my belt with me and the girl in the front of the salon had my dress on. I legit screamed CLOSE YOUR EYESSSSS. He swears he didn’t see anything but I was like what are the odds. And of course my reaction made it very clear what dress it was. I think you’ll be okay. He probably doesn’t remember it and when you’re in it in front of him all done up it will be totally different. It will be very special still! Don’t fret.

I accidentely had fh look in my closet where my folded veil is so he now knows it has a lace edge and he has seen my garment bag with the dress hidden inside (cant see through) so he should know its floor length and poofy (a line). If he puts it all together and thinks about it then he would have a good idea of it but not totally. He is trying to ignore it all but I was so mad him just seeing the veil! Luckily he doesn't know the length! So sorry you had to deal with this! He won't remember the details enough at that time and you in it with hair and makeup, etc will give the wow factor back!

LOL don't worry about it too much. When I first bought my dress, FH wanted to see it so I showed him a pic of the dress on me ( like a half body pic). This was back in December. He does not remember what the dress looks like now.

Sorry this happened to you!! I was worried I’d accidentally show FH my dress so I deleted all the photos off my phone in the Photos app but have a lot of pictures saved as locked notes in the Notes app! FH doesn’t want to spoil the surprise, but even if he did, he’d have to put a passcode in to see the pictures.

This has kind of happened to me! So we were at my future in laws house and I was discussing parts of my dress with FMIL and I didn't know that my FH was standing behind me for a good like 5 mins of the conversation. So he heard that its strapless, has a belt, and that my veil is 2 layers so that kind of sucks that he knows some details but not the exact look. However, my FH has a terrible memory so he'll most likely forget by the time September comes lol
Hopefully you're FH is forgetful too!

Lol my FH always said he didn't want to see it.
We've been together for 13 years so I talk to him about everything lol holding this in has been the hardest lol
I'm sure he will not think about it and he will forget too. I hope lol
