I have bought a crystal tiara & crystal earrings. I have sensitive ears, but I bought a pair that are nickel free, hypoallergenic & lead free, the problem is that only having the earrings in for a couple minutes one ear was sore, while the other was fine. I'm not sure why. But I want to get another pair. The problem is that I don't know what would match well with the crystal tiara. If I should try to find another pair of crystal earrings or go for diamond or another stone.

Did you clean the earrings and your ears first? Do you normally wear earrings? If I put some in after not wearing any for a while, my ears get sore.

No all the answers. I did clean my ear that was sore afterwards🤦‍♀️ When my ear feels better I will clean them first. I have not wore earrings since a wedding in 2019 & before that it was years.
The earrings are also a bit heavy so I'm sure it doesn't help. I'll have to wear them once in awhile & hopefully that'll help. I still have about 2 1/2 months until the vow renewal.

That's plenty of time! I wear studs all the time so that I can wear other earrings without getting sore. Also definitely clean your ears and the earrings each time to prevent infection and/or soreness. If they're especially heavy, you might want to wear them to get used to them. I find that the heavy feeling goes away quickly, though.

I definitely will. What do you use to clean your ears & earrings? My mom would always use peroxide but I've recently heard that you shouldn't use peroxide.

I use rubbing alcohol. It burns a little if you have an infection. I'm not sure what's wrong with peroxide, although I don't use it because I don't like the smell.

Like Kelly said definitely clean! Also sometimes you just need to train your ears to get used to something. If I don’t wear earrings for awhile I have to do the same thing. And also like Kelly said try wearing them for some time to get used to them. if that still doesn’t work then maybe look for something else

I have that too. It said that online although different sites said something different. I can't remember exactly what it said.

Will do. That's the other thing, I only wear them once every few years & while I've worn hoops before, it definitely wasn't quite as heavy. But I will clean both my ears & the earrings & try to get used to them. Hopefully that'll work.

But if you do look for something else, I think crystal or diamond would work with your tiara

I was hoping that if the crystal earrings wouldn't work that diamond ones would. I tried to use Google, but I couldn't find anything.

OH gotcha. I misunderstood. Diamond earrings tend to not have cheap metal so they may be a good option
