I had my final alterations appointment yesterday morning which I was soooo nervous about because a) I was paranoid about not fitting into it after a week of being a glutton at a work conference and b) the beading is super intricate and I was terrified it would get screwed up. All of that worry for nothing because it fit like a glove! I love it even more than when I first purchased it!
And thanks to my trusty MOH HereCometheYorks for coming with me and assisting in the ridiculous on and off of this heavy ass dress.
Also a note on alterations-- I paid about $220 to have the entire bodice taken in, cups added, and some beading on it repaired, and a few extra points added to the existing bustle. I used an outside alterations lady-- not in a bridal boutique, but specialized in bridal and bridesmaid alterations.
