    A-line dress bustle 1
My dress was listed somewhere as an a-line but I think it was more of a sheath...but heres how my seamstress did my bustle! I'm not sure of the correct terminology for it but I know she did 11points

My dress is a line with a chapel length train. The seamstress is doing a 15 point bustle with loops. From what I saw while she was doing it, she just picked it up in sections in a way that would allow the train to be the same length as the rest of the dress and attached those points right at where the skirt part started by my waist..evenly across the back.

Did it look all bunched up? I had a ribbon sent with mine for the ribbon bustle but my train is rather heavy and it made it look all bunched up and I didnt care for how it looked.

It didn't. It blended in pretty well with the rest of the dress. The only place it was obviously bustled looking was right at the ends on either side of the top of it. You could see the loop of fabric. The shirt on my dress is tulle, I think, so it's more forgiving than other fabrics.
