Similar to @Richard my mind went to a very dirty place when I heard "honeypot". This concept is gross.

I live in a little neighborhood called Honey Pot... I'd be totally thrown off if I got invited to something called honeypot party.

I really thought this meant she was having a sweets party so people can eat yummy desserts....

I also agree with bringing a bunch of honey. Even if the party was for sweets or some other random reason, it would be funny.

My mind went to "MLM Scheme," like Lularoe, Lipsense, Scentsy, Pure Romance, etc., because usually when someone is trying to sell that stuff, they have a "party" to demo and sell. I thought "Oh great, yet another thing I have to avoid on Facebook."

I thought Honey Pot was what they used to call a chamber pot? That's why I was side-eyeing the post.... like WHAT?

We used to call the trucks that sucked waste out of sewer systems, cesspools and portable toilets Honey Wagons....
