I am kind of mad one of the Groomsmen called to cancel today, he already conformed weeks ago but apparently his job now wont let him go. They are doing a Conference and he is th only one who to run it . but i thought he should have talked to him job i mean he works for the San Diego zoo you think conferences would have been set up a year or so in advance and would have notified there speakers/ workers. i do understand.. but it kind of makes me mad that he confirmed and now cant make it.. but we have other options but it is one more stress i dont want to deal with

Your we ok you have more than enought time to find another one. I had a bm drop out already..but i am further away then u. and i had her replace in like 2 weeks

Sorry Shannon, I just had a BM tell me she may not be able to come and this is when I've been trying to get them to buy their dresses. Hope it works out.

I understand i really do if he cant get off for work he cant. he would be flying half away across the country anyways. but MAtt was super excited for him cause he doesnt get to see him often but we do get to see him in july

Thank really stinks. I know the feeling- except my sister in law cancelled on me because her husband wasnt in the wedding so she didnt want to be in the party- thats the excuse she used....

That sucks, but it doesn't sound like it was his fault. If I were you, I wouldn't replace him. It will make him feel bad and will make the replacement feel like they're second-best (because, well, they are).

@amanda wow that sucks.. atlest he cancled cause of work..

but everything worked out matt is the youngest of 6 so another brother in law stepped up. there is no way he could have them all i could never find that many friends!

I'm 2 bridesmaids down and 1 best man down. Our wedding party is now 2 bridesmaids and 3 groomsmen.

You have to deal with what life throws at you and remember things could always be worse.
