Dedicated September 2021

a Bride & Her Bachelorette Party

Hi fellow brides!

So i'm excited and nervous...because I don't know what to expect or what's expected of me at my bachelorette party. It's not until next year and while my maid of honor is telling me not to worry about anything but enjoy myself, I can't help but worry! My bridal party are women who love to travel and have specificaly set aside money to travel in the most extravagance of ways and I'm the type of person who hates having things paid for them .... i know it sounds weird, but they're like "no we got you! you just relax and let us do the heavy lifting"... but i have never been in this type of position before and it makes me....feel like I'm being advantageous. Especially when they're talking about either flying out to Miami or Vegas. Any soothing suggestions to help me calm down?

Ask if you can at least buy a meal for everyone while there? That’s what I do when my future in laws take me on their vacations. Some people give gifts to their bridal party, others don’t. Remind yourself that this is something they WANT to do and that trying to convince them to let you pay will probably upset them

I paid for my flight, rental car, gas, groceries for the rental house, dinner the first night for everyone, a round of drinks for everyone both nights, and made favors for all my bridesmaids who went. So the girls still covered large costs like the house rental, matching shirts, etc. but I helped ease the burden.

You could do as pp suggested and ask to chip in for something at least
