Are you planning your own shower? Just FYI that's generally frowned upon on here. I would say anything before 4pm. Perhaps 1-3 or 1-4pm?

I didn't plan mine, but it's on a Sunday. All I know is guests are arriving at 11:30 and I'm arriving at noon. I think this should be up to the people planning the shower and depends on what type of shower they're throwing.

I hope it's not you who is throwing it?

I think it depends on your crowd. If people are coming from out of town, I wouldn't do too early. I had one over an hour away once at 11am and it sucked.

Let the person planning your shower decide this.

My mom and BMs are doing mine at 11:30a and are apparently offering both brunch and lunch items. I know very little otherwise lol.

I went to a baby shower recently on a Sunday and it started at Noon. I think that time works well for people that have to travel or those who would go to church before.

1 or 2 pm is usually safe. Do you have family members who attend church? For VIP guest particularly, you might want to make sure they can go to services and get to your shower on time

@KaSandra remember that the people who are traveling from out of town also have to travel back - so I vote for right in the middle of the day.

Mines is on a Sunday as well but I can't offer any assistance because I don't know anything about it. They won't even tell me where it's going to be..

Sunday times will vary by where you live. I live in the South and most people I know attend (or are pretending they attend) church on Sunday mornings. So anything before noon is a no no. My Sunday shower will start at 2. This will give people time to go home and change (if they want) and eat lunch.

1 or 2. Brunch is fine if you don't have church going people or people traveling.

My baby shower was a brunch and was I believe 11-3, it was the perfect amount of time.

Also, early enough that people could eat breakfast food if they wanted (ME ME ME!!!) and late enough that lunch was eaten too. (I know I know...Legit the meaning of brunch...But to me 1-4 isn't brunch...It's a late lunch)
