I don't share the same wedding date as you but I just wanted to say that I started planning my wedding about two years ago and I used every day to plan that I could get (and I still feel like I could use more than the 18 days I have left!) That being said, it depends what kind of wedding you're having and how many guests congrats!

I do not have the same date as you but the same month and year and yes I already started planning.

I like that date.. 8 is my lucky number :-)

I'm hoping for that date but it will really depend on if I get a venue or not and when our families can travel here

Yep same date all we have booked right now is the venue, specifically because of the date (it has a very special meaning for us) and because the venue is where I had my heart set on. Everything else I will probably start early next year. Good luck planning!

We chose 8.18.18 aswell. Yes, we have already started planning..So many things to do and with kids, work, pets, and day to day life, it never hurts to be prepared in advance. We even have plenty of back up plans because we don't know how many "JUST IN CASE" or "LAST MINUTE" issues we will run across in the next 16 months (and HOPEFULLY not any). ENJOY the planning... GOOD LUCK and CONGRATULATIONS...to ALL who are BRIDES and GROOMS to be.

Same date! Yes, i have begun planning. We got engaged in June. Already have photography, DJ, officiant, & bought my dress! just need ceremony location and venue.

We share the same date! We're getting married in NYC. We booked the venue as soon as we got engaged due to the date. Since then I have booked the DJ, Florist, and Make Up Artist. Said yes to one of the three dresses I'll be wearing! We're finalizing photography now and in consultations with videographers. Still need to get engagement photos, orders save the dates, find two more dresses, the groom and groomsmen tux, invites, favors. I had this all planned out since I was like 5 but there's a lot of details behind each area! Good luck!

Hi! yes, we are wedding date twins! lol i started planning in August 2017 to make sure everything fell into place and i am still planning. it is important to pick your venue before your date because your date might not be available. but planning in advance helps lock it in! congrats!!

8-18-18! I just tried on my dress earlier this month. I now have to schedule fittings for some alterations. Currently working on finalizing our caterer, the price for our DJ, and the outfits for our traditional second change. Up ahead, we will start sending out invites in May( mail for out of town guests who need to take work off and book flights, hotels, and car reservations) , putting our program together, I have to decide on my jewelry and shoes for both outfits, car box, light rentals, ceremony decor rentals, bridal party gifts, small logistics with our coordinator , finalize backdrop design... lots of small things

Hi date twins!

I know this thread started two years ago, but I started planning right after I got engaged in September. We have the venue. DJ, photographer, my dress, his tux, his wedding band, and save the dates have been ordered. Still working on some guest list issues, but we got extra save the dates just in case.

I have flowers for all the bouquets (doing fake flowers to save on costs), I have my centerpiece design finalized, just starting to track down supplies. Bridesmaids are working on their dresses. Working on blocking out hotel rooms for the guest and securing a suite for me and the fiance because I will also be using that room to get ready in the morning of with my bridesmaids! I know what I'm getting them for bridesmaids gifts, I'll probably get those later on though, since I plan on giving the gifts to my bridal party either at my shower or at the bachelorette party. Then there's more small things to worry about, but I'm taking those as they come. Hopefully I can get everything done by July so I won't be stressing out TOO much the week of the wedding!

Hey Date Twins! I share the same wedding date. Got engaged August 2017 but didnt start planning until last month. Waant sure exactly where becaue famikybis so scattered from NYC, to thw South to the West. I figure it won't be so bad because we're going small and in Vegas. The date is very popular so locking in those venues and photographer and time slots are crucial.

That’s also our date! We are getting married in Key West with a beach ceremony and an indoor reception with view of the ocean! Venue is booked. Working on Photographer and DJ now, florists will be next. We live here but I’m open to hear any vendor recommendations just bc everything is so expensive here!
