Dedicated June 2020

6/20 Brides

Who here is getting married June 20th and still holding out hope that it is going to happen for you? We have already said that if it doesn't happen, we will still get married that day and do a vow renewal next year, but that's obviously not what we want to do.
So am I crazy for hoping it will still happen? I have been so down and I can't get out of this slump. This coming Saturday was suppose to be our wedding day and when we moved it to June 20th I thought it was far enough away and would be over by then. I'm so tired of feeling this way.

I’m so down too and so conflicted and I’m most likely getting married July 17 my original date and the. Having a vow renewal next year but part of me doesn’t want to continue spending anymore money but the potential lose of the money we already put into it is what’s bothering me.

If we are unable to, the plan is to still get married that day and then move the big wedding to later in the year (back up date currently 8/7).
It does really suck. I feel like other people don’t understand unless it’s happening to them too. I have days where I am very down about it all.

What state are you in?! Each state has different stay at home orders. When is yours suppose to end(if not extended)?! We both have the same original date of April 18th, which is gonna suck when Saturday hits!!!

Yes, I think that is what is bothering me the most right now is we are less than a week from original date. We are in MS.... our shelter in place is until April 20th right now and of course Trump has the stay at home order until April 30th

I’m right there with ya girl! But think of it this way- you will still get a beautiful day. My honest opinion is that things will start opening up and going back to “normal”. There will always be that risk of this virus now until they come out with a a vaccine, but businesses can’t stay closed for too long!

Our original date was June 20th and we officially just postponed it a couple days ago to November 21st 2020. I was being very hopeful and I felt like i kept seeing signs but there was just no way especially with it being a destination wedding in Mexico and they are about 1 month behind us and also not everyone is working right now so I just felt that it would be best to hold off a bit and let us all get back on our feet and let this dang virus pass us by.
