Hey ladies... This has been beat to death but I find typical weight loss tips boring. I have 6 months to our wedding, and Yes I want to look beautiful in my dress, but let's be honest... I want to look smokin on our honeymoon. What's worked the best for you? Weight watchers? Zumba? That crazy...

I started working out more in January, I didn't need to lose weight for my dress, just wanted to look better naked! lol

So far, I've lost only 1 pound on the scale, but I've lost a total of 5% body fat which is great! It translates to 8lbs of body fat lost!

I exercised 5x/wk and chose my food more wisely for 3 months and.....nothing happened! So, I started Atkins and I've lost 10 in 1 1/2 wk. And I'm exercisiing less! The wedding is in October and I'm not ready to dress shop yet...so Atkins is working for me for the quick wt loss.

Fitness+nutrition+support= Success.... if you want to do it the old fashion way and the healthiest way. I have used P90X, Insanity .. those are extreme workouts and it all depends on you where you should start. I also drink Shakeology as a meal replacement. I''ve lost over 5lbs and a good amount of inches since last month but I know I could have worked harder.. My hubs lost 23 lbs in a month 1/2 with P90X/Insanity Hybrid and Shakeology.

I believe that zumba is probably the best excersize out there. I walk 4 to 5 miles a night and do zumba 3x's a week. When I was really doing the whole diet process and going at it bigtime. I lost 35lbs in almost 3 months. I just got tired of dieting. I am still walking and skip the zumba (but know I shouldn't) still eat right but cheat alot more.

Weight watchers online is a great resource for the busy person. You just have to be dedicated. You can eat whatever you want. You just have to track it. Right now it costs about 20 bucks a month or something and if you join at the right times they waive the registration fee.

I also find the hardest thing is to find a balance when your cooking for someone who isn't trying to loose weight. There are lots of fun recipes online that you can try maybe that would help FH be less likely to grumble about the menu. They have many that aren't very complicated and don't take long to cook (and don't require a lot of weird ingredients that you don't know where to use again).
