Don't try to not look pregnant! I feel like that always backfires. Talk to your seamstress about suggestions and try to get pictures of what she's aiming at. "Adding panels" can ne hard to visualize. Are you locked into the dress? Do you have other options?

Very locked into my dress, already bought it abd cannot return it. I was thinking about removing the zipper and making it a corset back because its a princess poofy dress lol.

Do you have a picture of the dress? The corset back will help with the enlarging chest area and if the waist line is higher you may be ok

The hard part is that you won't know what you will look like until you're there. When I was 6 months pregnant, I was as big as a house (and I was TINY before I got pregnant)! Also, with my first child (I have three), I went into early labor, and he was born before then. I don't mean to scare you; but my point is to be flexible. Babies make their own decisions!

One more piece of advice: if you choose a corset, make sure it is super comfortable and loose. The last thing you will want is something sucking in your stomach - there won't be that much room in there! You will want to be comfortable; and looser is better. You will tend to be hotter than usual, and a LOT more sensitive! If you had the choice, I would lean more towards an empire waist or flow-y look. Otherwise, you'll probably want to punch somebody!

I hope I'm wrong but I have a feeling that belt is going to cut you in an uncomfortable place. At six months pregnant I could not have worn a dress like that with any degree of comfort.

Yes but if that’s where the dress naturally gathers I can see the cut of the garment not being very comfortable. That’s the point.
Most dresses for pregnant women have an empire waist under the bust so the area over the stomach is loose, not fitted.

i think you need a plan b in case that dress will not work.

Ahhh congratulations! We are actually going to postpone our wedding to 2021 due to the virus 😒 so by the time I wear my dress, our baby will be just about 10-11 months or so. I plan on working my assss off to fit into my dress come the fall of 2021. I’m sorry I’m not much help!
