Anyone having a $5,000 budget? How are you guys planning on saving? I saw many people having backyard weddings or at local church so that they didnt have to pay the venue fees...

We're trying between 3k-5k. We went with the pros for photography because they offered the best price (about 1,200), we spent 1,500 on bartending, found a barn that usually does square dancing that's letting us rent for 400 for the whole day. Other than that, we're relying on friends. Officiant- free

    Hair/makeup- free

    Catering for 70-80 people-$500

    Cupcakes-covered by grandma

    Dress/shoes-bought by mom/dad

    Music-iPod with friend MCing

Flowers- grocery (call around, see who has the delivery day closest to your wedding date)

Decor- shop sales! I got all my silk flowers from Michael's for under $100, getting chair covers for about $1.50 each, table cloths for under $10 each, and we're going to resell everything we can

We're buying our dishes from a restaurant depot type site (those china lookalike plates), and skipping favors.

Just don't be afraid to say yes when people offer help

It's totally doable!! We set a $5,000 budget and i still have more money lol. Venue free at Grandmas house right on the lake, photographer 600$, DJ $250, table rentals/chairs/linens/runner $900, cake $200, dress $450, all my decorations including flowers 5 bouquets, 15 centerpieces with flowers about 300$, and catered BBQ $1,200...our guest list is 160 people. So I'm right under $4,000 and all I have left to do is pretty much alterations. I'm doing a ton of DIY things

If you are looking for an Upscale yet relaxed Caterer in South Fl we can help you!

It's best for Outdoor Florida Weddings.

We specialize in Steakhouse BBQ Dinners. It's a fantastic theme for a wedding and it can be very upscale if you choose the right catering co. We specialize in Argentine Parrilla. It is mostly high end steaks, shrimp and veggies. It gives you the feeling of a 5 star steakhouse with the affordability of a Moderate caterer. In our case we set up a Grill Bar, people come to our Grill Masters and choose their cuts right off the Grill and Then we set up the Side Dish Buffet. It is a fun, and delicious! We also have lots of Rustic decor we bring for our tables and we rent some rustic/chic accessories as well. As I mentioned, we are high end and Steakhouse like. We do not do Hot Dogs and Hamburgers. If you are in ourSouth Fl Area we can help you out. Would be happy to do so! Prices start at $30 pp

Our website is www.yummychori.com ****@***************.*** and on facebook you can see our most current events: www.Facebook.com/yummychori

    GOOD LUCK!!!!
