You're never gonna find a hall in NY for that price. im having my wedding at a knights of Columbus and everything is costing $8k. A restaurant is your best bet.

I'd suggest looking at restaurants, maybe ones that don't typically open until dinner so it's added revenue (for them)- they might go easier on a fee. Consider place that you might be able to have cheaper food, served family style or buffets like a BBQ spot or Pizza place- there are some great ones around Brooklyn! I would also suggest cutting your music budget by using an ipod/ Spotify playlist.

I would see where you could do a state park wedding in NJ or further upstate! Then you have more control over your alcohol and catering. 30 people seems easy to work with
