5'1, 109lbs but dd bust... Dress inspirations??

Courtney, on December 23, 2019 at 9:00 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10
Hi ladies! As I said above I'm 5'1, 109lbs and a DD-DDD bust. I have a hard time finding dresses that are going to look good on me. I'm not into strapless because I want to wear a good bra on the day lol. Anyone in a similar situation as me? Anything would help!

Do you have an apple shape or hour glass? Choose a dress more for your figure. I would suggest so straps or maybe sleeves?

More hour Glass than apple but not a lot of hip lol. I really like sleeves but I just haven't seen any brides with a bigger bust in that type of dress.

I’m also in the did-ddd range, I’m a little taller at 5’5”, but the boob struggle I can relate to.. I had a hard time finding a dress that I didn’t feel over exposed in. At the same time, styles that were more covered up just weren’t very flattering.

I wound up wearing an off he shoulder gown. Believe it or not, having the cap sleeve gave more coverage on the sides. So no side boob spillage. And the dress had boning that let me wear it without a bra...never would have dreamed it possible. Last, I had a modesty panel put in, it made me feel much more covered and confident. Here’s how it looked:5'1, 109lbs but dd bust... Dress inspirations?? 1

When you shop, try as many styles as you can! Youll find one hat works well for you.

Have you tried on any dresses? I recommend going to a nice boutique (even if you don’t buy anything). They are well-trained to help girls of all shapes and sizes to find a flattering fit/cut!! Definitely go in with an open mind and just try on everything even if it doesn’t seem great on the hanger, you may he surprised

I'm 5'0" with M bust. . .I know the pain. . .almost any strapless dress can have straps added. . .don't let any body part stop you from tryong anything on. I won't be wearing a bra the seamstress is handling all of this during the fittings. You will be surprised how much a good seamstress can do for you! Try on all styles of dresses, my dress shape isn't what I set out to be in, but totally feel in love with my dress the minute the sales person added straps. Trust your sales person they've got ideas you would never think of! Good luck!

Same height, but heavier and bustier lol. I have an off the shoulder mermaid dress. Just go to shops and let them help you. You're not obligated to buy anything. I had a list of dresses I wanted to try on and the salesperson literally said no I've been at this for years and went and picked out dresses for me to try. She also picked 3 dresses from my list and told me to try them first and I did not like them! I ended up with a dress she chose for my frame.
