Budget of $4k, not including our mini-moon. We reserved a site at a State Park ($1/person + Parking), and will have about 70 guests. Cake and punch reception with heavy apps to keep some costs down. Dress was on sale at DB, men will be simple in slacks and button downs with ties. only having to rent chairs and linens, the park site comes with picnic tables that we will use. Our good friend is officiating and refuses to charge us (we will gift him something though). I'm excited!!!

Our budget is around 5-6k. We're renting a house and guest house at a park and staying there with our families for a week. We're not having a wedding party and guest list will be around 30 people.

I purchased my dress online and since it was preowned I saved $1,500.

We're planning on having BBQ and I'm baking the cake. There is a bulk flower supply shop close to us so I'm planning on checking it out for flowers.

And I'm designing and printing the invites (that's what I went to college for so that is a given!).

Budget: 5800 for wedding/reception (doesn't include honeymoon, rings, or RD)

Where are you having your wedding & reception? Wedding will be at FH's home church. We are having our reception at a 2,000 square foot property than my aunt and uncle own and are letting us use as their gift to us.

    Where are the festivities? Georgia

How many guests & wedding party? We are inviting 119 guests. This includes 1 MOH, 5 bridesmaids, 1 Best Man, 4 groomsmen, 1 FG, 1 RB, and 1 Bell ringer.

Vision: We envision a daytime semi-formal affair filled with family and close friends. We want everyone to mix, mingle, and have a great time.

What did you skip? Nothing we felt was important. We are getting a custom bride and groom cake, have a professional photographer, a DJ, etc. I feel we got quality vendors and items. My quality items were just purchased when on sale. Smiley smile

Where did you find your good deals?

-Bouquets: We are using silk flower bouquets already per-arranged from Hobby Lobby. Things like our cake server, ring bearer pillow, flower girl basket, guest book, etc were also purchased from Hobby Lobby during their 50% wedding sales held every other week.

-Catering: We are using a catering company associated with a college close to my hometown. They host weddings and other official functions all year in their Grand Ballroom and around the city. We decided to go buffet style and are serving two meats, 3 sides, rolls, hot apple crisp, and non alcoholic drinks. It also comes with servers.

-Save the dates/Invitations: We purchased our save the dates though Wal-mart online. We customized and received 50 save the dates with envelops for $26. For invitations, we purchased a printable kit (found a really cute one on clearance that included 50 invitations, 50 reply cards, and envelopes for each) for $9 and had them printed at a printing store for $10.

    Edit: Typos

$3,000 budget. We are actually under budget and not adding anything else, unless we decide to provide food besides cake and punch.

We are having reception and ceremony at the same place, a state park pavilion in Indiana.

We want a simple outdoor wedding, with a rustic type theme. This was perfect for our budget and DIY items are simple.

There is no wedding party beyond my daughter who is the flower girl.

The honeymoon is a few hours away but still pretty local, and rather than a hotel we are renting an entire cabin with hot tub for 3 nights and it's less than 2 nights at a hotel.

We decided not to have a photographer or videographer. We were going to have friends do photos for us but my parents are paying for a photographer as our gift.

We didn't need any table or chairs as they are provided with the venue.

I found a consignment bridal store locally that sells new and used wedding gowns. My gown NWT was exactly $200.

FH is wearing black or khaki pants and a button up shirt.

Being at a state park means NO alcohol which saves us huge.

My cousin is a former proffesional cake decorator and is doing my cake and cupcakes for $90.

We kept our entire list of people invited, including kids and us, to 50 people, not even all relatives only people we like and want at our wedding.

Shop online for things as well like veils.

Glower girl dress I got after Easter on clearance for $25.

I am using my church (for free) it's the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There is the pavilion out back, which we are using for the ceremony, and the big room inside is being used for the reception. The room is 50'x75' plus a small "ad-on" space that we will have games for the kids who are attending. We are having Mexican food, which catering is our biggest money thing. We are having 135 people, which 17 of which are kids/babies. We have 4 GM and 5 BM plus RB and FG. We bought fake flowers off of Amazon and they look amazing. My BMs bought dresses either from the mall or off of a website for really cheap. We found the GM's vests on Amazon, as well. Basically we bought most of our stuff from Ebay or Amazon lol. We had a budget of $3,000 and we will be right at that when all is said and done. Oh! We bought our vases at Thrift Stores, as well. And our Videographer and photographer are both friends of mine so they are giving us a deal Smiley smile

    Whats your budget?

-$6500 (CAD) which is about $5300 USD

Where are you having your wedding and reception? Where is the festivities?

    - In a members clubhouse (ceremony & reception) I guess it could be compared to a legion?

How many guests and wedding party are you having?

    - We invited 69, including us. It will be between 60-65 once I get all the RSVPs back. There are 4 people in the wedding party, two on each side.

Whats your vision on how it will work logistically?

    - The hope is that it will be a fun, very laid-back party. It's tropical themed, though not as much as I'd like it to be. We've asked that everyone come in beach casual attire and some people are even taking it to the next level with Hawaiian shirts..etc. We are going to the venue the night before to set most things up and will go back in the early afternoon the day of to finish setting up the chairs and meet the baker for the cake delivery. Our DJs are member of the lodge (a big reason I went with them) and are going to help us set up chairs, direct the caterer and our guests. A mini DOC I guess.

What did you skip for budget sake? Where did you find your good deals?

We aren't having fancy transportation, video, flowers (If I do bouquets they will be from the dollar store), suits for the guys, non-wedding dress for me, a big cake. I'm sure there is more. I found our photographer, caterer and baker through kijiji (similar to craigslist). The photographer won't be doing the reception so that saved major $$. All decor is either DIY, dollar store or purchased from aliexpress.com.

I don't expect our wedding to be "Pinterest worthy", but none of that really matters to me anyways. I'm just happy to finally be marrying the man I love. Smiley smile

Budget: $4500... Venue: Historic chapel with one room schoolhouse located on same property (cost $400)... Dress: $99 DB clearance sale... Flowers: $0 All of the flowers came from my aunt's garden and turned out better than I could have imagined... Number of guests: 50 (including vendors)... Food/Alcohol/Cake: $550, we had an afternoon reception so the food was on the simple side and we provided our own alcohol... Live music: $300 Everyone loving the music was one of my favorite memories of the whole day... I DIYed all of our decor for next to nothing... We planned our entire wedding in 11 weeks. We were able to do that because we kept things intimate and simple.

Our budget is around the 4,000$ range. To keep things small we're doing a lot of DIY-ing and buying a good amount of things via Amazon or Ikea. I also have used Zazzle and got 40 invites for 25$ using a Groupon.com deal for them and then also ordered RSVP cards with a mother's day sale which costed around 38$ with shipping and all. We're doing a small wedding for around 40 people and having the ceremony and reception in the same venue just the two rooms are separated by a folding wall. Honestly I think the biggest thing that got cut down was the costs for pictures and flowers. My original vision for the flowers was this carnation curtain for the ceremony backdrop but we've changed that to a more budget friendly option of feathers and buying our own silk petals and aisle runner saves us more than 100$.

@Melanie - dont be afraid of the dollarstore roses. I made my bouquet from 3 bunches (I cut them apart and arranged them so the green leaves show through out the bouquet and to shape it the way I wanted. I used some wire I also found at the dollarstore to kinda twist tie it together. Im going to make a ribbon bow and tie it with the same wire in the middle leaving the ends long and then bundle it all together with green tape from the dollarstore. Then, im going to use a 50% off coupon and go to Michael or Hobby Lobby for navy blue ribbbon to wrap around and hid the tape. Not sure yet how Im going to "pin" or (glue" the end and start of that ribbon. I will ask @centerpiece, on here, how to do that. But Im telling ya the roses look good. I also bought 1 bunch of matching roses that Im going to cut apart and use the wire and tape to make the boutineers. I am however going to order budget coursages for all of us girls to wear during the reception.

Our budget is no more than $2,000.

Our wedding and reception will both be held in my Uncle's backyard.

Our guest list is maxed out at 32 including us. We have a total of 4 in our BP, 2 on FW side and 2 on mine plus a flower girl who's really just there to bring the cuteness Smiley smile

Our vision is what we're calling Redneck Classy or a little bit of me and a little bit of FW. We're going with a focus on things we actually want and not what should be at a wedding. We are going for a casual feel but still wedding classy.

My Aunt will be our DOC/Wedding Planner for free. We'll be doing setup the night before and my Aunt will coordinate all day of items. The biggest budget concern for us is the chair and table rental. We will be buying flowers from Sam's Club and arranging them with the help of my Aunt. I'm a huge deal and sale shopper. I'm checking constantly for my dress on sale online and at every bridal shop, pretty sure FW and my family are over the wedding dress hunt. We're looking for a Groupon or Livingsocial deal for our photographer. Food is being catered by my Uncle who is a pit master and his wife who is a manager for the high school and used to producing large amounts of food. FW is wearing jeans and a white button up. I don't think we're necessarily skipping things for budget sake as much as we're waiting and searching out deals whereas if we had a larger budget we would just buy or book things without thinking twice.

@From Mi to Mo - I didn't even think about eBay for wedding stuff! I'm an eBay addict for everything else. Thank you.
