4/30/22 Brides!

Sounds like you're making good progress! I'm getting married the month before you and have not paid off anything either. I'm waiting until the last day to pay in full though - because COVID. It will all come together - just keep focusing on the items one by one and before you know it they'll all be done!

I'll be getting married in March and we won't pay anything until the due date! The only things we have to book still are dance floor, draping/lighting, chairs (all of those are in progress already) and then mens attire, and signage!

We are wedding twins! I'm also 4/30/22! Like the other two brides, I haven't paid anything in full either because of COVID. Most of our required payments (already have all deposits down) are due two months out (60 days), so as long as everything looks healthy, we'll go on with it. Otherwise, I think you're making great progress! I would say the top priority now would be photographer/videographer since I didn't see that on your list.

I’m pretty much in the same place (my dress is paid off though— but I haven’t received it yet for alterations). We have to order his suit, and wedding bands still. I sent out save the dates in late August I believe. I’ll probably send my invites in early February since I need to know my final headcount by March 30th. Most of my payments aren’t due until two weeks before the wedding (DJ, photographer/videographer, shuttle buses).

Wedding twins! I’m getting married on 04/30/22 as well and I echo the previous comments. We’ve paid deposits but are staggering completely paying things off prior to the wedding! It seems you are in good space! I used a calendar to visually see what was due when & if it made sense to choose to pay anything off early etc.

I got the venue and cake. In the process looking at dresses and photographers. Got money down for both. Booked the church. Does anyone send out ‘save the date cards?

Does anyone know some nice places for a dress. I’m not a fan of David’s Bridal.

I also didn't do David bridal for my dress and choose a small local business near my area. Highly recommend! It was more personal and I made an appointment so it was just me and my people. I'm sure you have local bridal houses in your area! I just chose the one that was newer but I knew of a few

You are ahead of me just moved to NC month ago an haven’t found Venue yet on tight budget any recommendations for farm /barn venues ? Wedding on 4/30/2022 moved away from family and friends so it will b tough wedding planning solo besides with my fiancé

Just take a deep breath. My wedding is 4-30-2022 also. I make it my mission to try to get more stuff done weekly. I've almost paid the flower lady off. Bought and paying on my dress, veil, under garments, shoes and hair accessories. Bought flower girl dress, ring pillow. Bought wedding reception decorations most but, not all of them. Paid deposit on wedding cakes. Paying on photographer. I think about more things everyday that I need to do or that I want to do. I just have to step back and say a prayer. It will all work out.

I got a big Fancy dress and now I'm thinking I want another for the reception. It took 6 months to arrive I finally have it but need to try it on. Yet I'm planning on loosing weight because I have been changing my eating habits 😃
