4 flower girls??

vanessa, on March 30, 2013 at 10:53 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 10

I'm having a problem right now I have three flower girls but I left one girl out and my heart is breaking for her cuz she got all upset that she was the only one not in the wedding. Her brother is the ring bearer also so should I just make her one too. Then I feel as if that is soooo many flower girls. What do I do? My heart is torn.

Is there something else she can do to be part of the wedding, but maybe not have all of them walk down together? I have two ring bearers, a flower girl and a JRBM. the JR. BM is walking herself down, my nephew is walking down himself as 'ring security', FH's nephew and the FG will walk down together. FH nephew is holding a sign that says 'hey uncle Joe, here comes your girl'. Maybe you could find each one a different task, so they're not all throwing petals. I think it's cute when two girls walk down together with a large banner that says here comes the bride. Just a few suggestions.

I have four flower girls, but I guess that might be because there are two sets of siblings I'm really close to and there's no way I could choose two. They will probably be ring bearers too somehow. If you think she wants to be involved, I'd either just make her one or find something else special for her to do.

I'm only having 1 flower girl, but my sister had 4. It's your wedding, do what your heart is telling you to do! There's nothing "improper" about having 4 flower girls. My sister got adorable pictures of her flower girls-all 4 of them!! Smiley smile

I only had one flower girl.. I have seen weddings where there were 2-4 flower girls.. If you want to have that many then there's nothing wrong with that!!

I'm having 4 flower girls. All that cuteness will be a good way to warm up the crowd, ha!

You could have them walk in two by two if you think it's too much for them to come in one at a time. If she's important to you, include her!

Put her in...I have 7, and it would be 8 if one wasn't too shy. I'm just having them all walk down the aisle and go sit with their parents afterwards. It's not worth hurting a child's feelings over!

I'm having my 2 grandma's serve as my flower girls and my 2 nieces who are 3 will be on each side of the ring bearer ring bells ..this will kind of announce that the bride is coming. Still searching for my bells though..it's tougher than I thought.

So maybe you could have 2 flower girls and 2 bell ringers. Just a thought.
