Have you tried texting? I had to text my DJ because for a week he didn’t reply to my emails. I finally sent a text saying “I need to know what is going on by Sunday, as I’ve been emailing all week to no response from you”. He texted me back within 10 minutes. I’m a week out now and starting to feel the pressure when I don’t get quick replies lol

I would for sure create a plan B, just in case. I also would be calling, texting, emailing daily until I heard back or my wedding came. Not sure if there’s a buffer from the time a friend gets ordained to when they can officially conduct a ceremony but to be safe I’d have my choice get ordained the week prior if you haven’t heard back. Good luck!

You can always look for one in thumbtack. I found myself without an officiant a couple weeks ago and was able to quickly secure a replacement from thumbtack.

Start panicking now and ask a friend or get in the Thumbtack app and find a new officiant. Our officiant ghosted us at five wks out and I immediately replaced them. There ceremony is the one part that is about you and your future spouse (the reception is all about the guests). That shouldn’t be treated carelessly by someone who would ghost you.
