3 months out.. People annoying me 😂

So today marks three months until the wedding (yay!). We sent out invites the other day and RSVPs are starting to trickle in.. Well, earlier on in the planning process (I think it was early March) FMIL and FH's step brother and his wife came to visit. I had picked them up from the airport while FH was at work and took them to lunch. While at lunch, the wedding came up and the wife announced that the kids were so excited to fly for the wedding. I'm not sure what the look on my face was, but I'd have to imagine it was very surprised. We never planned on inviting kids (any kids) to the wedding. We specifically addressed the save the dates to only the two parents, but they still assumed they were invited. I just said something like oh.. And changed the subject quickly. Well, I of course told FH he had to talk to them which he did (to his mom) after they got home. Fast forward to this week, sent out invitations and the step brother RSVPd yes for him but no for the wife, which was understandable because the kids are not invited 🤷 Well tonight I get an email that the RSVP was updated and now she says yes. I feel like they are going to flip flop for the next three months and I'm already feeling stressed about it. Like, either come or don't, but don't do this for the next 12 weeks. Anyway, just venting at this point, but ready for the wedding and to celebrate with FH and then not a plan another event for a long time 😂
