Hailie, on September 24, 2019 at 12:35 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6
So my future wife and I have a bit of an issue. 3 dads.. her dad my dad and my step father I have already made the decision to have both my dad and my step father walk me down. The issue is the father daughter dance. Are 3 separate dances to many? I need some opinions I know for a fact I want to have a dance with my step father he is the one who has raised me since I was 4 but my dad is my dad and I love them both. Also she would like to dance with her dad or her mom HELP PLEASE!

Maybe you can do half and half? Like mid point your dad can cut in and finish the rest of the dance with you or something

3 dances is fine, but I would shorten them all to 2 minutes or so.

I agree with this, dancing with them is very important for you, and I'm guessing for them too, so go for it.

3 dances is completely fine. But I agree with shortening them. My FW and I are both dancing with our dads and doing a first dance. We are doing 2 minutes for our first dance and shortening our father daughter dances to around 1 minute a piece.
