I changed. Hubby & I changed into our pirate outfits (pirate reception). We did first look, ceremony, family pics, and cocktail hour pics in our formal wedding attire. Then we disappeared during cocktail hour to change them returned a bit before dinner. We changed to fit our theme & be comfy!

I am staying in the same dress. I can't afford a 2nd dress. Plus, it's not like I'm ever going to wear this dress again and with how much I paid for the dress and alterations, I'm wearing it for as long as I can lol.

Hit send to early. I totally see the appeal in a 2nd dress, so if you have the budget, I would go with it!

I am only wearing my wedding dress to both because I am lazy to change and don't want to look for another dress ahaha.

but I think it's a good idea to change if you can afford it and want to because a shorter or slimmer dress for the reception would be far less cumbersome than a wedding dress.

The dress on the right was the first dress I bought. It wasn’t comfortable for sitting or breathing haha. I almost bought a second dress, but instead exchanged it for the one on the left which I love more. Bonus, it’s lighter, easier to move/breathe in and I can sit! It even has pockets for nips and snacks!

I only had one dress and it was a fiasco to put on and take of Lol.

my MOH had two dresses for her and her bridal party which was fun! First dress was traditional western, second was African (she married an African man)

I’ll be wearing the same dress for both. I spent enough on my wedding dress I want to make sure I wear it. 😀

I’ll be wearing the same dress to both but I like the idea of an after party dress, never thought about that! Even though I’m not looking for a reception dress doesn’t mean it’s a bad idea, if it’s in your budget have fun with it!

Same for both, but I’m happy with it and that’s what I always imagined doing. I did just buy a super cute white shower dress though that I’m obsessed with. It’s a hi-low lace dress so it has a very wedding feel to it.

I am wearing my dress instead of changing into a new one because my dress is not too big. Plus my matron of honor & my mom can help me use the bathroom if I need assistance with my dress.

I'm not changing because I paid a lot for the dress and mine requires a 2 person effort to get in and out of. If you want a second dress and can afford it, I don't think there is anything wrong with that. Do what will make you most comfortable.

Im planning on wearing my wedding dress all night with how much I spent on it, but I'm bringing a second dress just incase I need to change but I also have 2 small toddlers who might make it necessary for me to change out of my dress.

I'm doing 2. My budget is going to include both of them, so I know how much I would like to spend on each but if I go over/ under for one, I can adjust for the other. I want a longer dress for the ceremony, and more of a party dress for the reception.

My dress was about 500 dollars more than what I originally wanted to spend, so I won't be changing. Also, I'll never get to wear it again, might as well enjoy it!
