Are you talking about 24 Carrots is So OC, CA? If so, they catered a wedding we attended at Casa Romantica in San Clemente. It was a buffet -- some kind of chicken, I think -- and the food was good. I don't remember anything more specific than that. As far as I know, the bride was really happy working with them.

Yes the one in OC. They seem to be exclusive to a venue I am looking at - Rancho Las Lomas. Thanks for responding. I appreciate the feedback. If you know anything about this particular venue - please let me know. Thanks again!

We live very close to there! It's such a cool location, daughter and I attended a wine tasting event there. It has some beautiful spaces and photo opps (plus, such cool animals!!!!). Daughter never really considered it -- just because she was looking for a different vibe. The only thing we noticed when we were there is traffic noise (especially the motorcycles on the canyon...) can be a bit loud in certain parts of the property. Congrats and good luck with your venue/caterer search!

PS -- FWIW daughter ended up going with Coto de Caza Golf and Racquet Club and we had an excellent experience with them. Also, daughter loved pretty much all her vendors (DJ, florist, photographer, etc.), so if you're looking for local recommendations let me know!

How fun! We visited about 10 venues in Orange County and know there are lots of great options! Daughter is super picky and really needed to have a good "connection" with all her vendors. She was also very budget conscious, so she did a ton of comparison shopping and ultimately felt like all of her vendors delivered really good value along with excellent customer service. Let me know if you have questions about any of them or about other items I may have forgotten to mention. Good luck!

DJ Andy Nation (https://andynation.com/) -- so sweet and easy to work with, and he did an amazing job of keeping everyone up and dancing all night. Two weeks before the wedding when another vendor was driving her crazy, Andy totally talked daughter off a ledge -- not at all his job, but he's just that awesome. (I think we paid about $1300 for 7 hrs, not including set-up & takedown, and we tipped him $100)

Photographer Karl Verkade (https://www.karlverkadephotography.com/) -- Karl is fabulous! Read his info on his website -- he's just really down to earth, so easy to work with, and his work is gorgeous. He has VERY generous discounts for paying in full at time of booking and non credit card payments. In addition to their 4 hour engagement shot (200+ photos), he was with us for nearly 12 hours the day of the wedding and daughter ended up with over 1100 fully edited gorgeous photos. He's since shot at least 3 weddings based on daughter's referrals. (I think we paid $2700 as the discounted price [plus we tipped him $200], at the time it was his most expensive package; his current price list is on the website)

Florist Vestra Rosa Weddings (https://www.vestrarosaweddings.com/) Erika Alvarez is the sweetest person you will ever meet and completely focused on problem solving and making a bride happy. She gave daughter EVERYTHING she wanted at a cost about $1000 less than the next lowest bid. She's super down to earth, incredibly pleasant and does great work. I'm nearly certain she's done a wedding at RLL. (Under $2000 for a bridal party of 13 adults, 4 kids, 4 parents, ceremony arch and aisle decor, cocktail and reception centerpieces, etc.)

HMUA Genna Khein (https://www.gennakhein.com/). She did a wonderful job -- also, super sweet and easy to work with. (She does one or more weddings per weekend and handles her salon clients during the week, so sometimes she's not super timely returning messages. If you can be patient about that, she's well worth it.) (I think with the trial, the bride's HMU was around $400, but I may not have that right; Genna's prices are on the website, so she's very transparent about them)

Cake Simply Cakes & Cupcakes (http://simplythecupcake.com/) Daughter has issues with food textures, including frosting. Bart customized her frosting to her exact specifications to make sure she could eat her own wedding cake! (With tax and delivery, her 3-tier cake with a spatula finish, 120-servings, was under $450.)

    Good luck and happy planning!
