2021 bride in a very old fashion dress.

If that's the dress as is with a belt.... DON'T CHANGE A THING... OMG, I'm usually against belts, but that dress is stunning as is.

I say keep the belt. The dress looks stunning on you and the belt is something that isn't common now a days (which is a good thing). If anything, take off the belt for the reception.

Pretty dress! I think it looks beautiful as is, but since the dress has plenty of detail on it, I also don't think the belt is required. You could go either way with it, I think it would still look just as beautiful without the belt. However, it's your opinion that matters - what are your thoughts on the belt?

If you like the belt, I say keep it! It looks beautiful with your dress! As far as it being “dated”... 10 years from now everything being worn at weddings today will be dated 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don't think anything about this dress is dated - I would call this elegant and classic. Keep everything about this dress, it is gorgeous!

This is SO true.... All the things that are "in" now will one day be out (just think about those giant sleeves, overdone embellishments, and puffy veils of the '80's -- I promise you we thought we were cutting edge at the time... ). You loving your dress -- and its belt -- is all that matters. (And, FWIW, I love the belt and would definitely keep it!)

I don't think your dress looks old fashioned at all, it is absolutely stunning! I have never heard that belts were out of fashion either, wear whatever the heck you want!
